- About 2.2 km of designated trail (bylaw Schedule F): Glendenning Trail to the summit plus the Glendenning-Whittaker-Maddock loop
- Page-wire fence sections, chicane-style gates with signs, benches and garbage enclosures along the trails; partial fencing reported complete in spring 2026, full fencing funded but not yet scheduled
- Sections of trail may close temporarily when fence work resumes
- Rest of PKOLS is on-leash at all times; keep dogs on designated trails
- Seasonal portable washrooms at Churchill Drive and Summit parking lots; main washroom at Beach Parking Lot
- Must carry a leash and dog must wear a collar in leash-optional areas
