- Large off-leash area of about 28 ha in a former sand pit
- Year-round off-leash; NCC lists it as one of the only Greenbelt places dogs can go in winter besides the multi-use pathways
- Parking: NCC lot P12
- NCC rules apply: no more than two pets per person, dogs must answer voice or hand commands, and pets are not allowed within 3 m of any shoreline
- Parking at lot P12 is free all year.
- Dogs must be leashed in the P12 parking lot and anywhere outside the signed off-leash area.
- In winter the Bruce Pit toboggan hill at P12 is used for daytime sledding (it isn't lit at night), and dogs aren't allowed on it.
