Vancouver's dog beaches

Vancouver has 5 off-leash areas with beach access. Dogs are allowed on these beaches only inside the off-leash area, so check the signs for where it starts and ends.

  1. Hadden Park

    May to Sep: 6-10 am and 5-10 pm. Oct to Apr: 6 am to 10 pm

  2. John Hendry Park (Trout Lake)

    6 AM to 10 PM

  3. New Brighton Park

    Fenced area: 5 am to 10 pm. Beach area: Oct to Apr only, 5 am to 10 pm

  4. Spanish Banks Beach Park

    6 AM to 10 PM

  5. Sunset Beach Park

    6 AM to 10 PM

Every entry comes from the park's city, regional district or park board, and each park page links that source. Rules change, and posted signs at the park always take priority. More guides
