- 1 km multi-use trail shared with cyclists and horses
- Leash optional only if dog stays on the trail within 10 m of you and returns immediately when called (CVRD rule)
- The trail is 2.2 m wide.
- It links Eagles Drive Park and McLoughlin Park, so you can make about a 5 km loop using the beach.
- The CVRD says bears and the odd cougar live in the forest along the trail.
